Finger Paints Merry Mittens

Somehow, I ended up with all of the “Winter Dreams” collection, which is Finger Paints’ collection for winter 2010.   I had coupons and there were sales, so…. But yes, otherwise, I am really trying to be on a polish low-buy.

Merry Mittens is so far the only one I’ve worn and… here it is!The bottle shows a mix of many different colors, and I thought it’d be a perfect autumn polish.  It shows up as mostly red on the nail, though.  Above, you can see the big gold flash on my thumb, which is super pretty in light. In bright light, the gold shows up and reveals a deeply rich color.

See? It’s gorgeous!  Not terribly unique, but fabulous, all the same.

Outside, the texture “separates” a little more, and from the bottle, is what I was expecting.Again, not terribly unique in terms of color or finish, but the formula was great and it wore well.  I think this would be a great color for a date, party, theatre, etc.  In fact, it would look fabulous with black velvet. Just sayin’.

About Satori

I like soft things. And shoes. And cultures. And nail polish - a lot. I'm an INFP/INFJ depending on the day, left-handed, can understand several conversations in a noisy restaurant from tables nearby and consistently sell myself short. I'd love to become a yoga instructor and aromatherapist. :-)
