Disclosure Policy

Effective December 1, 2009, the Federal Trade Commission has updated its policies on endorsement to include bloggers. To comply with these rules, please see below this blog’s Disclosure Policy.

This policy is valid from November 28, 2010

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by Satori Yogini. For questions about this blog, please contact SatoriYogini AT gmail DOT com

The purpose of a disclosure page is to let people know if I get paid to write on my site. Or if I get free stuff. Or if I have advertising. Or if there’s a conflict of interest. Also, the FTC now requires it (see link above).

Do I get paid to write here? No.

Do I get free stuff? The short answer is I could! The long answer is I may receive products in exchange for writing posts about the products.  If this happens, it will clearly be noted.

So, does this affect how I write about the product? Do you mean I am more apt to give a product a positive review because the company gave me a free product? No. The reviews I write have my opinions that are one hundred percent mine. 100%. The company may ask questions to answer in my review (did I like the packaging, were the claims as they state , etc.) but my answers to those questions are my own honest opinions. And just so we are clear- the opinions written on this site are always mine, even if money isn’t exchanged.

Nothing on this site presents a conflict of interest.  Content of any links is the responsibility of those site.  I link only because their content may be of interest to readers, and I have no input as to the content of any other site.

I think this covers it.
